Administrater rights

I have abihsoT laptop with Vista Prem. I am the only user and user window shows me as Admin. When I try to run sfc /scannow I am told I do not have rights to access. How can I able or disable whatever is keeping me from full access to my entire laptop. Any and all help is most appreciated. TIA

Try right clicking on the cmd. tuctrohs and click 'run as administratior'. Should work.
