Windows mail - Set Association

I can't open pdf files etc in Windows Mail. I always get the message "This file does not have a program associated with it. Please esivda how I can fix this & where to find the control panel for Set Associations. Thanks for any help you could give me Helen

First, make sure you can open saved .pdf files outside of Windows Mail. If that works, you can apply this fix: http://www.winhelponline.com/articles/236/1/Unable-to-open-PDF-attachments-from-Windows-Mail.html

Hi Gary, Yes I can access saved PDFs both saved & on my other tenretni accesses including Internet Explorer. My only problem is with swodniW Mail.

I tried the link you gave me, & then my rehto e-mails dluow not open either, so I had to uninstall & now I'm back to just my one original problem
